Seventh Story's sound can be compared to the modern rock feel of Creed/Alter Bridge's big guitar riffs, while combining the pop sensibility of the Foo Fighters and Weezer. Along with those songwriting influences, when all is said and done, Seventh Story ends up with a familiar "feel good" rock song while maintaining their own "fresh" attitude and approach.
The line-up of Seventh Story was finalized in late 2003, with Doug Campo coming onboard and being the final vocal piece of their modern rock puzzle. The music section (guitar, bass, and drums) had been playing and honing their craft together since 2000. Guitarist/songwriter Dave Callari handles a majority of the music writing with vocalist/lyricist Doug Campo adding his melodic touch. The songs take their final shape once drummer George Romeo and bassist Mike Callari add their own unique touches. This combination has proven both effective and efficient for the Seventh Story camp.
To help get a larger feel for where Seventh Story derives their inspiration, the boys have cited such influences as Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge), Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, Rush, Queen, Scott Weiland (Velvet Revolver, STP), and even a little Van Halen.

Dave Callari - Guitar
Dave Callari has been playing guitar for 12 years now. The long road to Seventh Story started when he was a teenager listening to Gun's N Roses and knew that he had to play guitar. That Christmas he was presented with and Epiphone Les Paul Standard, similar to the guitar that Slash was playing at the time. Since then he has never looked back. Over the years while teaching himself how to play he has been positively influenced by such shredders as Vai, Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Dimebag Darrell and just about anyone else who could play the shit out of their guitar. The band started out as a small hobby between family members (Dave on drums, and cousin/bassist Mike on guitar). Eventually they came across George, to take over the skins, and Doug who finally put the vocal piece of the puzzle together. In addition to playing the guitar Dave also plays the drums, alto Saxophone, and handles most the music writing for Seventh Story.

Mike Callari - Bass
Mike Callari began jamming on guitar with friends in high school and throughout college. After coming home from school he continued to jam with Dave on a weekly basis. When George joined Seventh Story they needed a bass player and Mike was equal to the task. He learned to play from jamming on tunes from Sum41, Jimmy Eat World, Van Halen, Andrew W.K., and Incubus. Utilizing his background in programming and graphic design Mike has designed and developed the band's logo, web site and promotional material.

Doug Campo - Vocals
Raised in the suburbs of New York, Doug Campo, known to friends as just "Campo," spent his childhood playing homemade guitars made out of cardboard and string while listening to his older brothers Queen albums. His music experience began in elementary school where he took his first lessons on the trumpet. But it wasn't until he picked up the bass at age 7 that he knew music would be part of his life forever.
He started performing in front of audiences at a very young age playing upright and electric bass in school orchestra and band. 5 years of Piano lessons, several guitar lessons and 10 years of playing Vivaldi, Beethoven, and bass riffs by Getty Lee and Les Claypool (talk about opposite ends of the spectrum!), Doug still searched for other ways to express his passion for music. After several years in and out of the music world, Doug helped form a garage band that wrote original music and played the occasional STP cover.
Two years and 13 written songs later it was time to move on. Now, after being recruited by Seventh Story, Doug decided to focus primarily on his vocals. He hooked up with well-known vocal instructor Katie Agresta, whose clients include Steven Tyler, Dave Mathews and Jon Bon Jovi.
As a songwriter, lyricist and with a passion for music, Doug believes he has the creativity and the chops to lead Seventh Story to places they've always dreamed.

George Romeo - Drums
George Romeo was introduced to playing the drums by his father at the age of five. Over the next eleven years he played in various incarnations of middle and high school bands, as well as gigging at the tender age of 16. He has a decidedly rock/jazz feel, being influenced from greats such as Neal Pert, Max Weinberg, John Bonham, Alex Van Halen, and even a little Tommy Lee for good measure. George joined creative forces with Seventh Story in 2002, and thus anchored the rhythm section with tight rock drumming behind the big guitar riffs they have been known for.
